Hi, I’m Marty Walker. I’ve been a freelance designer since 2001. After working for many years for some big multinationals I took on the idea of working for myself. During my travels I jotted a few ideas down. From the doodles on the back of a stained Guinness coaster I came up with the business name: Still Moving Design. I wanted something that covered my equally passionate creative outlets: print, animation and soon after web design. It took me a few years before I eventually made the leap to go out on my own, immediately taking on some large print production work.

Today, most of my projects involve designing and building websites for clients (as well as for other studios) and giving them as much control over the content as possible. I use a variety of content management systems to varying degrees: ProcessWire, Textpattern and ExpressionEngine.

I have some basic terms of business that I stick to and I’m generally an easy-going chap to work with.
